The church property consists of the church building itself, which houses the worship area and the preschool downstairs, and the education building, which houses the church office, Sunday School rooms, a multipurpose room, and the day care and the Immanuel Christian Child Care (ICCC) office. These two buildings are connected. Both buildings are handicap accessible, and special parking spaces are reserved on Sunday mornings at the front of the church for those who cannot walk longer distances. A cry room is available for the use of parents with small children during worship services if needed. It is located at the rear of the Sanctuary, just to the right of the main church entrance. It is equipped with a speaker and a window so that parents do not need to miss the Service while attending to the child.
A nursery area is available in the basement. Child care is available
continuously from 8:45 a.m. until the end of the worship service on Sunday
mornings. Children may use the area for as long or as short a time as the
parents wish. Some parents prefer to have their children stay in the worship
service until after the children's sermon, at which time they take the children
to the nursery area. The nursery area is equipped with speakers, so parents and
care givers do not miss the Service. Plenty of toys are available. |
